On 20 May 2025, at the Thon Hotel EU (rue de la Loi 75) in Brussels (Belgium), will take place the public conference Unlocking Low-Carbon Innovation: From Horizon Projects to Market Deployment.

The event will bring together relevant stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss best practices and lessons learnt while fostering knowledge sharing. Moreover, the conference will involve industry stakeholders in the process of scaling up R&I results to Innovation Fund (IF) readiness and promote the mobilisation of the financial and technical expertise needed for the elaboration of sound IF proposals.

This public conference is organised by four Coordination and Support Actions (CSAs) funded under the topic HORIZON-CL5- 2023-D2-01-07: ‘Support for the deployment of R&I results for climate mitigation. Synergies with the ETS Innovation Fund’. The H2IF, REALIZE, LEADS and 2DPLOY projects tackle different technologies (renewables, Hydrogen and energy storage, Carbon Capture Use and Storage and general low-carbon technologies) but share a common goal: to support Europe’s decarbonisation efforts by bringing promising clean energy technologies closer to market deployment.

Technology developers will deepen their understanding of the Innovation Fund and other sources of capital. They will also be able to connect with representatives of public and private finance organisations.

Financial providers, both public and private, will gain awareness of the energy R&I community’s needs and learn about projects that may be of interest as investment opportunities.
